Virida Hospital Takes on the Ubuntu Challenge Day
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, the Virida Hospital team joined the ENSŌ Akademie Ubuntu Challenge Day in Wonderboom for a morning filled with teamwork, laughter, friendly competition and plenty of team spirit.
The Ubuntu Challenge is all about bringing schools, businesses, organisations and groups of friends together for a day of challenges, collaboration and fun, and the Virida team certainly embraced the occasion!
From the very beginning, there was fantastic energy among the team. Everyone got involved, encouraged one another and enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together outside the usual hospital environment. And Virida didn’t simply participate, we also brought home some bragging rights!
Virida Hospital won both the Song Challenge and the Relay Station Challenge!
More than the wins, though, the day was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people work together, support one another and have a little fun along the way.
A big thank you to ENSŌ Akademie for organising such an enjoyable event, and to every member of the Virida team who participated and made the day one to remember.
